First post!

Hello everyone!
I was planning an outfit for this saturday, and remembered Princessery had posted about this community in the mori girl community, and so I thought I'd ask you guys for some input! This is so nice, because now I don't have to worry about making myself look decent to post pictures in Daily Lolita ^o^

Ok, so I bought this skirt recently from a girl on my local comm, and I'm already falling in love with its versatility :D My boyfriend and I are going out for a date saturday afternoon, then spending the evening on utter nerdery. I'm having trouble deciding which coord I would like to wear more, so I'm looking for some advice!

This is the first coord I came up with. I love sax/pink combo! I didn't get my shoes in the picture, but they're just a pair of white heels with bows, pretty generic. However, I'm not sure if I should stick with the candy clip. It's cute, but at the same time, it bothers me ever so slightly that the one bow is more mint than sax lol
skirt: handmade, not by me
blouse, cardigan: offbrand
dual clip: modified chocomint necklace
bow, shoes: bodyline

I'm kind of partial to my second coord here, because it has a cute vintage-y feel. I was having such a hard time finding a belt or sash til I nabbed my sister's. I'm still not entirely sure about it though. I may just use the black sash I have...if only I could find it ^.^'

So there's my first post! Thanks! :D

Thank you! I wore the second one out today, with a black cardigan because it was a little chilly, and it made such a nice coord for a day out. It wasn't so OTT that I felt weird, but it was still lolita enough for me haha I think its more simple coords that incorporate a bit of mainstream fashion that are starting to convince my parents that lolita isn't just a dress-up costume, it's really my clothes. So i'm going to start looking into more basic pieces :D

Thanks! I was really lucky to get mine from my great grandmother when she passed :) She left me a whole treasure trove of vintage fabrics and antique equipment.
